This soundtrack is an addition to the DvD. Put on a headphone, close your eyes and there is the music. Fabulous songs like “Hills of Ardmorn” , “The 4 Maries” , “Flower of Scotland” and my
favourites “Jock O’ Hazeldean” and “The Loch Tay boat song”. The world around disappears and
sometimes I think “I didn’t breathe”. All instruments are played so feelingly. The harmonica in “Hills of
Ardmorn, and most of all, the combolins. The beautiful voices so in harmony with each other.
Because I also have the DvD and look at it regularly, I can see them with closed eyes.
The interaction with the public is great, but those two men alone on the stage, playing their music
gives me an emotion I cann’t describe. Every day I listen to “The Corries”. I have more Corries CD’s,
video’s and the songbooks, and they are all very good, but this DvD/Soundtrack was my first
acquaintance with them and you always go back to your first love don’t you?
